Welcome to the website of the Church of St. Luke and St. Peter. I am delighted to be able to communicate with you through the medium of this website. It is just one of the many ways in which parishioners and others can find their way into our community and through this into a deeper life of faith. Jesus said, "Come unto me all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest." (Matt 11:28) It is our hope and prayer that through the ministry of all the members of our church family you will come to know Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, in our midst and that you will truly find rest for your soul.

We at St. Luke and St. Peter's comprise a "community of faith", committed to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to the care and nurture of God's people. Moreover, we have renewed our resolve to be Christ's disciples in the world. Through worship, education, and outreach, we seek nothing less than the transformation of ourselves and of our community by the grace of God and through the power of the Holy Spirit. We celebrate proudly our Anglican heritage and tradition. As an orthodox church, we likewise embrace our ancient catholic (universal) roots, which stretch all the way back to the first century. As a people committed to Jesus Christ and to His Gospel, we look to the future with hopefulness and expectation, secure in the knowledge that with God all things are possible.

It is our hope that this web site will provide us with yet another tool for ministry by reaching folks that we would not otherwise reach with information about St. Luke and St. Peter's church news, messages and other interesting features. We hope that it will be a blessing to you and that you will return often.
